I've been thinking about stuff to give the girls in my family for Christmas and until a few days ago, I didn't have any idea of what to give them. Everytime I thought of something to offer them, I later realized I was thinking about something that I would like to receive, and not them. After thinking it thoroughly, I gathered up 4 items that every girl likes to get for Christmas.

Aromanice Eco Purity Bath Kit

What kind of girl doesn't like to be pampered? This kit is a great way to bring the Spa to your home. It comes with bath salts, a small towel, body lotion, shower gel and shower cream.

Caudalie Thé Des Vignes Hand+Nail Cream and Lip Conditioner

We all experience dry hands and lips during winter, so what a better gift to give someone than a good hand moisturizer and lip balm to keep your skin and lips hydrated. That's where this Caudalie kit comes in. Besides the fact that it is a great gift, the moisturizer and lip balm are a great size so you can easily carry the with you everywhere you go.

Oriflame Happydisiac Perfume

Who doesn't want to smell good? In my mind, everyone loves perfumes so obviously this is a great Christmas gift, in my opinion. This Oriflame Perfume is a great option. Its floral smell with a hint or Wild Strawberry and Egipcian Jasmine gives you a subtle yet noticeable smell.

This is probably the most standard gift but yet it is one you can't go wrong with (unless the person you're giving the chocolates to is allergic or doesn't like them). People love to eat these little treats during the Christmas as some of these chocolates -like Ferrero Rocher- are only available during the holidays.

If you're a blogger, you know how time consuming it is to run a blog. You need to think about post ideas, take pictures, edit them, write the post, promote it on social media and, of course engage with your readers. Blogging takes much more time than most people think!

Sometimes, it can be hard to juggle blogging with school, work and your social life.
For a lot of bloggers, blogging is a hobby- a side job if you will- so they don't have a lot of time to spend writing and promoting things on social media. I've struggled several times with this issue- wanting to blog but not having the time to do so. However, I've come up with an organization system to help me organize my blog and blogging schedule, but also to help me organize my life in general. Today, I'm sharing 3 ways I keep myself and my blog organized.

I'm a visual person, so I hate organizing my life on my phone. I need to visualize my week in order to organize myself around the things I have to do. For the past year I've been using a Mr. Wonderful Agenda (here's the 2017 version) and in  there I write down everything I need to do regarding my blog and also my personal life.

 Blog Notebook

I have this Ale-Hop notebook (which is no longer in stock but here's another one I find really cute) and I use to jot down blogpost ideas, to write rough drafts of blogposts and photo ideas. That way, I can be a bit more organized with my blog.

 Pocket Planner

My Mr. Wonderful Planner is a quite big so it doesn't fit in most of my bags so my Mom got me this little pocket planner -I made the cover myself- which I take with me everywhere and everytime I have a blogpost idea or have somewhere important to go to, I write it down there and then transfer the information to my big Mr. Wonderful Agenda.

How do you stay organized?

This morning, I realized I only ever did a 'favorites' post once almost (here) almost two years ago. I was going through my makeup and beauty products and gathered up 5 products I've been using over and over for the last few weeks and decided to share them with you guys.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer in 010 Porcelain

I found this concealer randomly when I went to the drug store to buy a lipstick for my sister. I was extremely happy to find it because I had ever found a super light concealer under 5€. It's super high coverage and it blends amazingly.

I've loved this palette ever since I got it three years ago. It's a great palette to use for an everyday makeup look and also for more elaborate looks. As you can see by the pictures, my most used colors are Venus - which I used to wear as a  highlighter for the longest time- and Naked 2.

Essence Lip Liner in 05 Soft Berry

I love Essence Lip Liners. They are super soft and creamy and glide on like butter. I've been using the color 06 Soft Mauve for the longest time but, the last few times I've been to the drug store, this color is not available. Back in June, I bought this shade and I really liked it but I only wore it about two times before I lost it. A few weeks ago, I re-bought it and have fallen in love with it all over again.

I've talked about this lipstick on my '5 Not So Typical Lipsticks For Winter' post (here). I haven't had it for a long time but for the short time I've had it, I've been loving it. It's super pigmented and even though it's a matte lipstick, it doesn't feel dry on the lips.

I love black nail polishes and this Kiko one is, by far, my favorite. I love the fact that you don't need to apply coats and coats of it to have an opaque finish. You  just need only two- sometimes even one- coat and it'll look perfect.

What beauty products have you been loving lately?

For most people, winter and holiday season makeup looks mean gold eyes and  red matte lipsticks. Well, not for me. I hate seeing myself with those bright red lipsticks so I stay as far away as I can from them. I've always preferred nude and brownish colors instead. Today, I'll show you my top 5 not so typical lipsticks - which are all under 10€-  to wear this winter/holiday season.

This is the only liquid lipstick I own and I really like it. The formula is very creamy and easy to apply. The only downside about it is the fact that it transfers color so you have to be a bit more careful or else you'll end up with a stained shirt- like me.

These lipsticks were only 1€ each, you can't get a better deal than that! They have a soft glossy finish which I really don't mind since it's not extremely shinny.
The color 312 is a red lipstick with a brown undertone which I find very interesting. I've only worn this color about three times since I bought it but I really like it.
I've worn the color 403 a million times already and every time I wear it, I fall more in love with it. It's a beautiful brownish nude color which goes great with every single eye makeup look you create.

These are the two -and only- Essence Lipsticks I own. I bought the burgundy color called It's a Statement  about two months ago and the light pink color called Natural Kiss just last week and I love both of them. They are matte but don't feel dry on the lips. The dark burgundy color is great to wear at parties and special events- in particular holiday parties and events- and the pink color is a great everyday lipstick.

What are your favorite Lipsticks to wear during Holiday Season?

Who doesn't love lazy days? Those kind of days where you decompress after a busy week, pamper yourself and just relax? Now that the cold has come to stay and the rain keeps on pouring, nothing sounds better than staying at home in some cozy sweatpants and a jumper -or even some fluffy pajamas- watching a movie/tv show with a warm beverage in hand in front of the fireplace.
When it comes to lazy days, there are a few things that I consider must-haves, so today I'm here to show you my top 4 things that'll make your lazy day just perfect.

1- Comfortable clothes

I think the main goal of a lazy day is being relaxed and comfortable and one of the ways to do so is wearing cozy clothes. Soft jumpers, comfortable sweatpants, fuzzy socks and fluffy pajamas are a must!

2- Hot Drinks

The best thing about cold days is the fact that a hot drink tastes so much better! I love to drink a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate while sitting on my sofa watching a movie.

3- Cozy Blanket

I love blankets, especially if they are huge and fluffy! They are a must-have on a lazy day to keep you warm while you relax.

4- Good Movie/TV Show

The best way to spend a lazy day is by watching a good movie or tv show while laying down on your sofa. Netflix is my go-to place for movies/tv shows but if you don't have an account there are loads of other places you can watch your favorite show/movie.

What are your lazy day essentials?

Personal posts are my favorite. I love desk tours, personal collections and, of course, 'what's in my bag' posts. I've actually done of these posts before (link here), but, as it has been about a year and a half since I wrote that, I decided to do some sort of a follow-up post and show you what I carry on my bag right now.
The bag I'm currently using is the Zara Contrast City Bag - unfortunately is not available anymore- which was a birthday gift. I love this bag because, even though it's small, it carries all the things I actually need throughout the day.

Inside the bag I usually carry my Michael Kors Wallet - where I keep my cards, money, receipts and bits and bobs like that. An essential on my bag is-obviously- my house keys: the pompom is from a local boutique called K-Dream, the Eiffel tower was a gift from my mom's friend from Paris and the heart was a gift from a cousin from Mallorca. Two other essentials in my bag are my phone - that needs to be replaced ASAP- and my iPod.

I'm an organization freak, so I always carry a small notebook or planner in my bag, where I can write down things I have to do. I normally carry a small planner that was offered to my mom, but as she knows I love this kind of stuff, she gave it to me. I customized the cover with black textures scrapbook paper and silver washi tape. To write down on it, I use a Ale Hop pen my aunt gave me.

Makeup wise, I used to carry a whole bunch of products with me everywhere I went, but recently I decided to cut down on the stuff I bring with me and now I only carry the Douglas Matissim Liquid Lipstick and a translucent powder (which is not shown in the picture because I ran out).

What about you, what do you carry in your bag?

I love makeup/skincare products, especially when they are cheap! I know people associate price with quality, but sometimes expensive products are not that great and cheap products are amazing!
Today, I'm here to show you guys 5 beauty products I love that are under 5€.

Douglas XSmall Gentle Eye and Lip Makeup Remover -1€

I love this makeup remover so much! You just need a tiny bit and your eye/lip makeup will come right off. Now, this is the travel size version of this product, but I've had it since May , I use it almost everyday and I still haven't used even half of it!

Nivea Moisturiser- 1,75€

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on this product, but I personally love it. I have very dry skin around my nose area so this moisturiser is great for that. I normally apply it before going to bed and after a shower.

Andreia Rocket Nail Varnish - 1,99€

This varnish was actually a recent purchase. I was in need of a nude varnish so I went to a local store and bought this one. I love Andreia's varnishes because not only they dry fast, they last long.

Primark Contour Brush- 2€

This is one of the softest brushes I own. It was super cheap, it serves it's purpose really well and it's cute to look at!

Essence Forbidden Volume False Lash Mascara- 3,79€

If you're looking for an affordable mascara that actually does what it's supposed to do, then this is it! This mascara gives you humongous lashes and great volume! And the most amazing thing is that this mascara comes with a top coat to give your lashes that extra bit of volume and length!

What is your favourite product under 5€?

I have a love/hate relationship with Sundays (we all do right?) Sundays mean relaxation but also stress because Monday is right around the corner.

I personally love to spend my Sundays at home relaxing, but for the longest time I felt like by staying at home being lazy, I was being the biggest procrastinator. A few months ago, I decided to be 'lazily productive': do stuff that is relaxing but that don't make me feel like I haven't done anything all day.

Today, I decided to share with you 5 things you can do on a lazy Sunday:

1- Watch a new TV show/movie

We all have that TV show or movie we are dying to watch, but never seem to find time to do so. Well, Sundays are perfect for that.

2- Have a pamper session

Take a bubble bath, exfoliate, do a hair mask, hydrate your skin, make Sunday about YOU.

3- Try a new recipe

Go on Pinterest and look for a new recipe for you to try. Who knows, this new recipe might just become a household classic!

4- Catch up on your favorite blogs/ Youtube channels

Read this week's favorite blogposts and watch you favorite youtubers' new videos.

5- Prepare the week ahead

Plan your outfits, meals and everything in between for the next week so you don't need to rush during the week.

What's your favorite way to spend Sundays?

I'm a light sleeper. I've struggled with it all my life. I wake up with a minimal amount of noises, like for example, the sound of my mom opening the living room windows (mind you, between the living room and my bedroom there are two bathrooms and my parents bedroom). In addition to being a light sleeper, there are nights were I'm constantly waking up, manly because my TV was left on or I'm worried about something that's going to take place the next day.

Lately, I've been having much better nights, as I tried to change my sleeping routine a bit and follow some tips I've seen online. Here are my top 5 tips to sleep better:

1- Unplug

I've read on a magazine that you should turn off your phone, laptop or tablet one hour before you actually want to sleep, because  the light on the devices makes your brain more alert and consequently you won't be able to sleep at the time you planned to do so.

2- Take a shower/bath before bed

I find myself sleeping a lot better if I take a shower or bath before I go to sleep, especially in the winter. You feel super warm and relaxed and next thing you know, you're entering the wonderful world of sleep.

3-Prepare the next day

As I said above, I'd wake up in the middle of the night worried about something that was supposed to happen the following day. I was never big on planning for ahead, whether that was translated into choosing the outfit I would wear or packing my school bag. I would always do it on the actual day. That made super stressed out because not only was I much more restricted time-wise, I was also more likely to forget something. Now that I've started planning ahead I'm not as stressed out as I used to be and that results in a better night's seep.

4- Listen to relaxing music

Listening to soothing music can make you sleep a lot better! I don't do this every night, but when I do, I put on my head phones and listen to really slow and calm songs. After 4 or 5 songs, I turn off my iPod and in 5 minutes, I'm asleep.

5- Wear comfy pyjamas

The pjs you wear to bed are extremely important: if they're itchy of made of a more harsh material, it's guarantied you won't be able to sleep well. You need to feel comfortable in your pyjamas so you can sleep the whole night through

Who doesn't love good pyjamas? I know I do! I love pyjamas so much that if I could, I'd wear them every single day!So when The Reach London got in contact with me about their new Kickstarter Campaign and new amazing pyjama collection, I was really excited to  collaborate with them!

Helen, Olivia and William created The Reach London in 2015 when they realised nightwear had seriously upgraded over the year and yet they still failed to find stylish cotton pyjamas that matched the quality and design of silk ones without the high price tag and expensive dry cleaning bills, so they decided to create their own luxury pyjama collection. To back up this collection, they created a Kickstarter Campaign that was launched on August 31st (for those who don't know, Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everyone that backs up a project can choose a reward form a variety of options offered by the project creator).

Why are The Reach pyjamas so special?

  • They are made with the highest workmanship and materials
  • They are designed and manufactured in London
  • Pyjama shirts and trousers can be purchased either as a set or as individual pieces
  • Free shipping everywhere

The Reach pyjama shirts are designed to also be worn not only in the comfort of your home, but also outside, paired with jeans and some cute heels. They also give you the option to choose a size for the top and another size for the bottom, which I find amazing because I like the tops to be on the looser side and the bottoms to be on the tighter side. The men's pyjamas are also available in two different leg lengths.
Here are a few words from The Reach Owners themselves:
