Can you believe Christmas has passed and 2019 is literally days away? 2018 went by in a blink of an eye, seriously! As the year is about to end and we will be all celebrating the new year by either going to a party somewhere or just staying at home and celebrating with family or friends, so I thought I'd share with you a few outfits to hopefully inspire you to enter 2019 looking stylish. New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas

A few years ago I did a blogpost all about the Twitter accounts that retweet your tweets promoting your blogposts. A lot of time has passed since I wrote that post and the blog retweet accounts I used have changed: there are some that no longer exist and there are some new (and really cool ones) I've added.

As I said in my first post, I think Twitter is a great platform to share your blog's content, and RT accounts make the job of reaching more people much easier. Twitter is my second highest source of traffic, right after Pinterest and I owe a lot of that to RT accounts.

Before I show you my list of accounts, I think it is important to let you know a few tips on how to compose your tweets in a way that will appeal to the account you tag as well as potential readers. The first thing is to incorporate an image related to the blogpost: what I usually do is I create an image on Canva and then I use it for both Twitter and Pinterest. The second and final tip I have for you is to keep the tweet short and sweet: just write out the title of your post, the link to it and you're good to go.

During the holidays, it's normal for people to be invited to Holiday Dinner Parties, whether those are company dinners, friend dinners or family dinners, the truth is we all are invited to one of these at least once a year. If you're like me (and I'm sure you are if you're reading this post), you have absolutely no idea of what to wear to those said parties.Well, that's okay because I've gathered 16 different outfits to inspire you when choosing your holiday dinner party attire. Enjoy!

When I think of winter fabrics I think of 2 things: knit and tweed. Tweed gives off such an elegant and put-together look, doesn't it? I blame Chanel for this. And it's not as hard to style as people think it is. I know before you'd only find tweed clothing more suited for older women but lately tweed has been making appearances in a lot of high street stores such as Zara and Mango.

Today I've gathered a few ways you can wear tweed this season without looking older than you actually are.

Can you believe 2018 is almost over? It seems like January was just last month! A few days ago I was thinking about all the habits I'd like to create in 2019 and all the action steps I would have to take to achieve them when I realised I don't need to wait for the new year to start doing these things, I could just start now. Why not start earlier?

Today I've gathered 4 small habits you can start doing right now in order to achieve your goals in 2019.  These 4 habits are not very specific, meaning they can help you achieve various goals. If you'd like to see a blog post where I talk about the action steps to a specific goal, let me know.

When I say declutter, I don't mean you should go over every single thing you own and throw everything out unless 5 or 6 things (but if you want to do that it's totally fine), I mean you just make a habit of putting things back in their place. This will not only declutter your space but your min as well. I speak from experience when I say: an untidy space equals an untidy mind.

Start organising your life

Now it's the perfect time to start planning for 2019. If you haven't bought a planner yet, I'd suggest you buy one, or if you're not into paper planning, you should look for a good organisation app or calendar so you can organize all your thoughts and events.

Try something new

Again this doesn't have to be anything big: just make sure to try something you've never done before. It can be something as small as a new pasta recipe or something as big as learning a new language.

Change your mindset

It's time to become a more positive person. You know that whole 'half empty or half full glass'? This is actually a great metaphor if you think about it. Why think of a situation in a negative way when you can look at it positively?

What are your main goals for 2019?

Who's counting down the days until Christmas? Just me? I bet not. December might just be my favourite month of the year, all because of Christmas: I just love all the lights, the decorations, the cold weather, everything really.
Every year I like to write down a list of things I want to do during the holiday season and this year I decided to share with you some of the activities I want to do as well as some I've done before and want to do another time.

  1. Go ice skating
  2. Read a winter novel ('Let It Snow' is a great choice)
  3. Try a Christmas cookie recipe
  4. DIY tree ornaments
  5. Do a festive manicure
  6. Visit a Christmas market
  7. Watch Christmas movies
  8. Have a holiday-themed sleepover party
  9. Make a list of gift ideas for your family/ friends
  10. Create a Christmas playlist and listen to it while wrapping presents
  11. Knit your own scarf or beanie
  12. Go to a Holiday dinner party
  13. Do Secret Santa with your friends

Have you ever found yourself thinking about what to wear, spending a generous amount of time looking around your closet and then ending up wearing an all-black outfit because that's the easiest option? Yeah, me too. Too many times to count, to be honest.

I love black. Half of my wardrobe consists of black items: black coats, black bottoms, black tops, black bags... pretty much everything I own is black. I've been trying to change this a little bit though, buying more light coloured items. However, I always end up going back to my black outfits because those are the easiest to style and they are pretty much fool-proof.

Today I've gathered a few different ways you can wear all black and look extremely stylish.

I feel like I'm a bit late to the party, even though Christmas is over a month away, but ever since the beginning of the month, I've been seeing Christmas Gift Guides everywhere. So... here's another one! And just in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
I thought about doing a bunch of different gift guides like 'beauty gift guide' and other like that but honestly, I think it's better to have everything in one place so you can easily access it if you're stuck on what to buy your mum, sister, girlfriend or whoever the person might be.

The best thing about winter and the cold weather for me is the fact that we get to wear big warm coats. I think coats give outfits a little something that ups their level: I don't know I just love coats. Today we'll be focusing on teddy coats: probably the biggest coat trend this season. These coats are being sold pretty much in every store and you can find them in every size, shape and colour.

Since these coats can be a bit more on the expensive side, I decided to show you my favourite teddy coats today so you can get them on sale this Black Friday.

Pinterest is the platform that drives the most traffic to my blog: I get an average of 150 new visitors daily through my Pinterest account which might seem like a small number but if you really think about it, it's actually huge. This is all possible because of group boards. For those who don't know what a group board is, it's basically a Pinterest board that has a bunch of people pinning into it. Normally these group boards have a theme, for example, Paris so the people who have access to the board and can pin there are only allowed to pin pictures related to Paris.

Today we'll be focusing on blogging group boards. These group boards are made specifically for bloggers and are a place where we can share our latest blogposts or any blogposts we've written for that matter. I think these are amazing not just to promote your work but also to discover other bloggers who might have the same niche as you and might want to collaborate with you.

There aren't just bloggers who follow these group boards, people who don't blog also follow them, which means they will probably see your post and might click on it. BAM, new reader.

I've gathered a list of group boards that I feel are great for bloggers are will boost your blog traffic.

  1. Beauty Blogger Babes Group Board
  2. Blogging Pros Group Board
  3. Group Board: Fashion Beauty and Lifestyle Bloggers (this is the group board I've created)
  4. Post Your Blog! Bloggers Promote Here
  5. Beauty + Style Blogs Group Board
  6. Top Blogs: Pinterest Viral Board
  7. ~Beauty Fashion & Lifestyle Bloggers
  8. Bloggers Unite
  9. Blogger Style
  10. Beauty + Fashion Bloggers (Group Board)
  11. Top Bloggers (Group Board)
  12. Blog + Business Tips (Group Board)
  13. Female Bloggers Free For All

Do you have any group board recommendations?

Plaid has always been a thing during autumn/winter months but there are years where it's more prominent and this is exactly what's happening this year. You know that whole schoolgirl uniform vibe? Yeah, that's a thing this year. I personally have a love-hate relationship with this kind of look meaning I'll hate it one day and I'll love it the next. But plaid is not being worn just in skirts. We've been seeing a lot of plaid pants and plaid coats (which are my favourite way to wear plaid by the way) recently as well.

Today I've gathered a few different ways you can wear plaid this season, as well as some of my favourite plaid pieces.

Guess who's back after a whole entire month without posting? This girl! Ah, it feels so good to be back blogging, I never thought I'd miss is this much. Today's blogpost is something simple since I'm still getting on track with everything: a list of things to do during rainy weather.

I don't how the weather has been in your country but here in Portugal it has been raining quite frequently and I don't mind it at all. I've always loved cold and rainy weather more than sunny and hot weather. In honour of this, I've gathered a list of 10 things you can do when it's raining so you don't get bored.

  • Invite a friend over and have a movie marathon or just have one by yourself. I suggest you do a Disney movie marathon. Trust me, you'll love it.
  • Search for new recipes and try them out. Pinterest it amazing for this. I have a whole board dedicated to recipes I want to try out.
  • Do a fun DIY. I saw one of a personalized umbrella the other day and it looked super cute.
  • Search for new tv shows to watch. There are always new tv shows to watch so you'll never get bored
  • Do a deep cleaning of your home. Since you're at home, why not occupy your time making it clean?
  • Read that book you've been putting off reading for the longest time. I've started reading 'Into The Water' during the summer but ended up forgetting about the book. Now that there isn't a lot you can do outside, I've been catching up with the book.
  • Journal. When I say journal I don't necessarily mean write about your day: you can write about anything and everything. Recently, I've discovered kpop journaling and I've really enjoyed it.
  • Get ahead on school work or any kind of work. Have a paper due in two weeks? Why not start on it now?
  • Organize your closet. Have you exchanged your summer clothes for your winter clothes? If not this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
  • Have a pamper day. Create your own little spa at home. Do a face mask, a hair mask, do your nails or just have a good old bubble bath

What are your favourite things you like to do when it's raining outside?

October has just started which mean it's time for yet another playlist. I haven't done one of these in a while and I kinda missed it since I love music and love sharing the songs I discover. This month I decided to do something a little different: if you read any of my past playlists you know I've been a lot into K-pop lately so I made this month's playlist entirely dedicated to K-pop. Hope you enjoy!

1- Wow Thing - Seulgi, Chungha, SinB & Soyeon
3- Really- Blackpink
4- Lullaby - Got7
5- I'm fine - BTS
6- Power Up- Red Velvet
7- Starry Night - Mamamoo
8- Lil' Touch - Girls' Generation -Oh!GG
9- Trivia: Just Dance - BTS (J-Hope)
10- BBoom BBoom - Momoland

Autumn is here! Well at least officially, because here in Portugal the temperatures are still quite warm. Even though this is my current situation I know that is other countries the temperatures are already dropping down so I'm sure a lot of you are already thinking about your autumn/winter wardrobe (and I envy you to be honest) so I've decided to gather up a few of my favourite boots for this season.

I think boots are a great way for people like me, who prefer more basic pieces, to step out of their comfort zone in a way that won't make you feel weird. I've gathered a few more flashy boots as well as more basic ones for more everyday wear.
