Blogging is hard.

People think it's easy though. They think you just write something and that's it. Well, let me tell you, it's not. Blogging requires hours upon works of work (yes work. Blogging is a job. Whoever says it does not clearly don't understand a single thing about blogging). You have to think about the post, do research on the topics you want to mention, write the post, take pictures to go along, edit them, publish the post and share it on your social media. Alongside that, you have to answer emails, plan the next posts and a bunch of other things.
A few weeks back, I was browsing through Polyvore and came across Gamiss, an online fashion store. I was immediately attracted to it due to its prices and also because I found amazing designer-inspired pieces. I've been using their pieces on my polyvore sets for a few weeks now so when they emailed me asking if I wanted to work with them, I said yes right away.

Today I've gathered a few of my favourite pieces to show you and maybe in the future I'll show you some of these styled (*awkwardly winks*)

Disclaimer: this is a sponsored post.

I love Zaful. There's no denying that (I mean just go through my blog and you'll see a ton of hauls from them). I find amazing that the website has every trending piece at such low prices. I've got some bits and pieces I got in the mail the other day to show you today.

PS: Zaful is having an amazing Valentine's Day Sale where you can get amazing pieces to wear on a date or even gifts for your loved one so don't forget to check it out!

Fashion-wise, I got two tops. I decided to choose lightweight tops that I could use during the spring/supper but could also wear during winter with a warm coat and a huge scarf. I ended up choosing a Black Chiffon Flare Sleeve Blouse which is pretty basic, but the sleeves give the blouse a different and chic feel. I've worn this blouse with a black suede waistcoat and black trousers, giving all the attention to the sleeves.
I also got a Black and White Striped Shirt which a lot of people consider a staple in anyone's wardrobe but something I've never owned. This shirt is super oversized, which I love, but it also comes with a belt that cinches the waist and makes you look a bit more put together. I've actually worn this shirt just yesterday with white jeans, a grey coat and black vans.

This time around, I got more accessories than clothes. I've been is a gold mood so I decided to get a few gold pieces to wear.

Although it's not gold, I was in love with this Heart-Shaped Ring. It reminded me a lot of the pandora rings we've been seeing everywhere for the last few months. I was kinda scared that it wouldn't fit my finger but fortunately, it does and I couldn't be happier.

I was never a bracelet person but since I got some bracelets back in November  I've been wearing these accessories more and more.  I decided to get these 4 Bracelets mainly because they're gold (duh) but also because of the starts and moon, other things I'm obsessed with. Can you tell I'm obsessed with a ton of things?

I got 3 necklaces. The theme of stars continues here, as I got a choker filled with little stars which I'm in love with. It looks amazing with pretty much any outfit.
Along with that, I got two oval pendant necklaces I've been eying for months. I've seen tons of people wear these over jumpers, with deep necklines and everything in between so I decided to get myself a pair of these. I've not worn them yet but I've tried them with a bunch of outfits and I can honestly say I'm in love.

Check Print: THE trend of this Autumn/Winter. Everywhere we go, every shop we enter we see it. There are various types of check prints: Prince of Wales, Tartan, etcetera. All of them are being used by designers on their collections and consequently, bloggers and influencers are rocking these prints.

Inspiration is always good so, although we see various people wearing this pattern, I've decided to gather up a few sets I did over on my Polyvore account and show you a few different ways you can wear this trend.

Easy to follow tips on how to get healthy in 2018

Getting healthier is hard, trust me I know that. I've had my fair share of failures and achievements when it comes to my health/fitness.

As I said on one of my blogposts before, we humans are creatures of habit so when we want to change something it can be quite difficult. That's the main reason why we should star small and not be extreme when wanting to be healthier. You can't go from not exercising at all to exercising 4 times a week for 3 hours each day because that won't last long. You'll be back to your no-exercise life in a blink of an eye.

Changes have to be gradual, you have to build up to them. Let's say you want to become vegan: I don't think the best approach is to eliminate all animal products altogether. You should start gradually. Start with milk and eggs, then cheese and so on until you ditch all animal products.

With this in mind, I've gathered up 10 easy to follow tips you can apply in your life in order to get healthier.

  1. Get enough sleep
  2. Leave your car. Walk or bike to places
  3. Search on Pinterest for healthier alternatives for your favourite foods
  4. Read the labels
  5. Drink loads of water. If you're not into plain water, drink tea or add flavours like the Prozis ones
  6. Find something active you like doing (eg: dancing)
  7. Eat a filling breakfast
  8. Add veggies to at least two of your daily meals
  9. If you're going out, pack a healthy snack so you don't end up buying that doughnut you saw at the shop
  10. Do 5 to 10 minutes of yoga in the morning
What is your best tip on how to get healthier?

Whether it is a skincare product or a really cute lipstick, we all have at least one beauty products we use every single day.  I don't know if it's because we humans are used to routines or not, but this is a reality.

A few days ago, I've noticed I have a few products I use everyday religiously and thought 'well this would be a good blog topic', so here it is. These are the beauty products I reach for everyday.

I've been reading Sally Hughe's book 'Pretty Honest' that I got for Christmas and one of the many things I've retains from it is that you should have two daily beauty routines: one in the morning and another at night. I was never the one to have a big routine so I love that she's also like that.

My morning and night routine only vary in regards to products: in the morning I use a toner and at night (not every night but 2/3 times a week) I use an exfoliator. Here I'll be talking about my morning routine.

Starting with a cleanser, I use the Biphase Soft Cleansing Milk. Even if I didn't wear makeup the previous day or that day, I will use this to clean my face of any impurities it might have retained. Next up I go with my toner. I use a tone from the same brand as the cleanser: the Biphase Gentle Toning Lotion. Next up, I use the Cien Time Control 24 Hour Moisturizer, followed by the Revox Anti-Spot Serum

I also have this thing with my hands, where I put hand cream at least 3 times a day. Why? Mainly because my Laura Rossi Coco Monoi Coconut Hand and Body Cream smells like a coconut dream and I have this thing with coconut.

I don' wear makeup every day. I used to but I didn't like what it did to my face so I cut it down. If I know I'm not leaving the house all day or I'm just leaving for a small amount of time, I won't put an ounce of makeup on my face.

However, if I do wear makeup, there are a few products that are my essentials- the ones I always use.

Starting with my face, I use Essence Camouflage 2 in 1 Makeup & Concealer followed by the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer   and the Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder . To bring life back to my face, I go with the Nyx Matte Bronzer (very lightly because this is very pigmented).

As for eyes, I've been using the 35 Eyeshadow Palette. I don't go all out with this palette unless I have some kind of special event, I use only two colours for my everyday makeup: a redish matte one on my crease and a shimmery ivory shade on my lid. For my eyelashes, I use the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, my new favourite mascara.

For highlighter, I use the Becca Glow On The Go Kit  in Opal which was recommended to me by Sara from Amaze In Style. I love this kit really. You can go as extra and as subtle with your glow as you want (I prefer being extra but that's just me).

What are the products you reach for everyday?

When we think of floral patterns, we normally associate them with summer. I mean, most flowers grow during spring/summer right? It's natural for us to do this.
Lately, though, we've been seeing many brands using floral patterns on their A/W collections. Grated, the patterns are not as colourful and bright, but the flowers are still there.

You know when you have a fancy party or even a wedding and don't have a clue of what to wear? I think we've all been there at some point or another. It's extremely frustrating. Speaking on my case, I get extremely frustrated and get to the point where I don't want to go anywhere. Then I end up finding some random dress I've had in my closet for 15 years and feel uncomfortable for the whole night. Well, I think that's about to be over. Today, I'm partnering up with to show you 10 ways you can style their dresses.

No matter how long you've been blogging, you always have something new to learn. Sometimes these things can be as small as knowing how to format your text or as big as learning how to work with photoshop. What I mean is, at the end of the day, we can all learn new things about blogging whether you're a newbie or you've had a blog for years.

When a new year starts, we all make up these resolutions in our mind that we hope to achieve. Reality is, we forget all about those resolutions by mid-January or just straight up give up on them after we hit a small bump.

You're probably sick and tired of seeing my talk about Zaful but I just love them! Their quality is amazing for the price you pay and that means you can look cute and on trend for cheap.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Tosave, a website with a similar vibe to Ebay where you can buy pretty much anything you want from techy bits to beauty-related stuff. They asked me if I wanted to try out some of their products and I immediately said yes. I ordered a total of six things and today I am here to show you what I got, as well as my thoughts on them.

Happy New Years everybody! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year's Eve.
I know it's a bit late to be doing one fo these posts but I'm doing it anyway because, if you're like me, you like to read and watch 'What I got for Christmas' posts/videos, you won't mind that this came in a little late.
