I have a thing for oversized things. I don't know why really: maybe it's because big clothes make me feel cosy. I love the look of huge coats with skinny jeans, dresses and skirts or big shirts and tight bottoms. It's all about balance really. We don't want to look like we bought something 4 sizes bigger.

When wearing big tops, opt for tight-fitting bottoms and vice versa. I personally like to keep the tightness for the bottom but I'll wear it the other way around, just not so often-  not just because I like the other way better but also because I own 500 pairs of skinny jeans and 712 oversized tops.

Goodbye millenial pink, it was nice knowing ya but lilac is taking your place. That's right, after last year's craze over pink , lilac is now the it colour of this season. This pastel shade has been seen all over the SS18 shows, from Céline to Victoria Beckham. If you've seen  pictures of your favourite designer's shows you probably noticed a lot of pastel shades like mint green or pastel yellow but no other colour stood out as much as lilac.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you probably know that I have a few makeup items from Zaful. I have to say I was a bit sceptical the first time I ordered makeup related stuff from their website: we all associate good quality makeup with high prices so it can be a bit scary buying makeup that is so inexpensive as it is. Truth is, I absolutely love what I ordered. The brushes I ordered are super fluffy and pretty and the eyeshadows are super pigmented albeit with a bit of fall-out but nothing that can make me not want to use it anymore.

Am I the only one who's been dreaming about sunny warm days? I'm so tired of grey rainy days, to be honest. here in Portugal, it has been raining pretty much non-stop for the past 2 weeks. I think we're all longing for the feeling of the sun hitting our skin right?

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably know that I'm moving to a new apartment. For the past few weeks, I've been browsing Pinterest endlessly looking for inspiration as well as storage solutions and stuff like that.

As you probably know, I've done a few blogposts in collaboration with Zaful before so when they asked me if I wanted to work with them again, I couldn't say no. I love Zaful, I really do. I find amazing that they have all the trendy pieces everyone wants at low prices, so pretty much everyone is able to buy them.

I was browsing through their website, trying to figure out what kind of styling post I should make and end up on their kimono cover up page and an idea came up to me. Why don't I do a beach styling video? I've never really done that before and with the poor weather we've been having, some beach dreaming is exactly what we need.

Basically, today, I am going to show you a few of my favourite beach pieces already styled (like I do every time I style a trend). I'll be concentrating on purple swimsuits because purple and lilac are a huge spring/summer trend this year (more on later this week). oh and by the way, most of the swimwear I will be featuring is available in many other colours, so if you are not comfortable with wearing purple swimwear, you can easily buy it in another colour like white, black, red and many more.

PS: If you are a mum and want to find inexpensive beachwear for your daughter, Zaful has girl's swimwear here. You and your child can match even on the beach now!

If you are interested in learning more, Zaful has a blog where they post everything from video review made by other Bloggers/ YouTubers, fashion trends to watch out for, sales, host giveaways and many more things. Here a few of my favourite articles they have posted:

How to Rock Winter's Most Used Print During Spring
We've all seen it right? Check print. This winter's most used pattern. There wasn't a day where we didn't see someone posting an Instagram picture wearing this print. And on the streets too! Check print here, check print there.  It was everywhere.

Last night, I had a bit of a binge- read of a few of my favourite blogs and discovered this kind of posts: things I learned in my *insert age here* years. I was very interested in reading these posts and decided I should also share 20 things I learned in my 20 (almost 21) years of living.

Can you believe spring starts in about two weeks? Yeah, me neither. These past few days have been super duper cold here in Portugal (and pretty much everywhere) and all I want to do is stay inside my home curled up on my bed or sofa and not face the harsh winds and rain outside. Here are a few things you can do when spending a day at home.

There are two BIG colour trends this spring/summer season: lilac and mustard yellow. Today I'll be focusing on mustard yellow, but don't worry, a lilac post will be coming soon!
