Can you believe Christmas has passed and 2019 is literally days away? 2018 went by in a blink of an eye, seriously! As the year is about to end and we will be all celebrating the new year by either going to a party somewhere or just staying at home and celebrating with family or friends, so I thought I'd share with you a few outfits to hopefully inspire you to enter 2019 looking stylish. New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas

New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas

A few years ago I did a blogpost all about the Twitter accounts that retweet your tweets promoting your blogposts. A lot of time has passed since I wrote that post and the blog retweet accounts I used have changed: there are some that no longer exist and there are some new (and really cool ones) I've added.

As I said in my first post, I think Twitter is a great platform to share your blog's content, and RT accounts make the job of reaching more people much easier. Twitter is my second highest source of traffic, right after Pinterest and I owe a lot of that to RT accounts.

Before I show you my list of accounts, I think it is important to let you know a few tips on how to compose your tweets in a way that will appeal to the account you tag as well as potential readers. The first thing is to incorporate an image related to the blogpost: what I usually do is I create an image on Canva and then I use it for both Twitter and Pinterest. The second and final tip I have for you is to keep the tweet short and sweet: just write out the title of your post, the link to it and you're good to go.

During the holidays, it's normal for people to be invited to Holiday Dinner Parties, whether those are company dinners, friend dinners or family dinners, the truth is we all are invited to one of these at least once a year. If you're like me (and I'm sure you are if you're reading this post), you have absolutely no idea of what to wear to those said parties.Well, that's okay because I've gathered 16 different outfits to inspire you when choosing your holiday dinner party attire. Enjoy!

When I think of winter fabrics I think of 2 things: knit and tweed. Tweed gives off such an elegant and put-together look, doesn't it? I blame Chanel for this. And it's not as hard to style as people think it is. I know before you'd only find tweed clothing more suited for older women but lately tweed has been making appearances in a lot of high street stores such as Zara and Mango.

Today I've gathered a few ways you can wear tweed this season without looking older than you actually are.

Shop my favourite tweed pieces:

Can you believe 2018 is almost over? It seems like January was just last month! A few days ago I was thinking about all the habits I'd like to create in 2019 and all the action steps I would have to take to achieve them when I realised I don't need to wait for the new year to start doing these things, I could just start now. Why not start earlier?

Today I've gathered 4 small habits you can start doing right now in order to achieve your goals in 2019.  These 4 habits are not very specific, meaning they can help you achieve various goals. If you'd like to see a blog post where I talk about the action steps to a specific goal, let me know.

When I say declutter, I don't mean you should go over every single thing you own and throw everything out unless 5 or 6 things (but if you want to do that it's totally fine), I mean you just make a habit of putting things back in their place. This will not only declutter your space but your min as well. I speak from experience when I say: an untidy space equals an untidy mind.

Start organising your life

Now it's the perfect time to start planning for 2019. If you haven't bought a planner yet, I'd suggest you buy one, or if you're not into paper planning, you should look for a good organisation app or calendar so you can organize all your thoughts and events.

Try something new

Again this doesn't have to be anything big: just make sure to try something you've never done before. It can be something as small as a new pasta recipe or something as big as learning a new language.

Change your mindset

It's time to become a more positive person. You know that whole 'half empty or half full glass'? This is actually a great metaphor if you think about it. Why think of a situation in a negative way when you can look at it positively?

What are your main goals for 2019?

Who's counting down the days until Christmas? Just me? I bet not. December might just be my favourite month of the year, all because of Christmas: I just love all the lights, the decorations, the cold weather, everything really.
Every year I like to write down a list of things I want to do during the holiday season and this year I decided to share with you some of the activities I want to do as well as some I've done before and want to do another time.

  1. Go ice skating
  2. Read a winter novel ('Let It Snow' is a great choice)
  3. Try a Christmas cookie recipe
  4. DIY tree ornaments
  5. Do a festive manicure
  6. Visit a Christmas market
  7. Watch Christmas movies
  8. Have a holiday-themed sleepover party
  9. Make a list of gift ideas for your family/ friends
  10. Create a Christmas playlist and listen to it while wrapping presents
  11. Knit your own scarf or beanie
  12. Go to a Holiday dinner party
  13. Do Secret Santa with your friends
