When we think about winter clothing we think of the same three or four colors: black, grey, brown, and maybe navy and dark green.  It's embedded in us to associate dark colors with cold weather and light colors with warmer weather. In the past few years, however, we've been seeing bright colors being worn in A/W fashion shows more and more. At first, I think we were all taken aback by it and thought it was weird, but then, as any Portuguese mom would say ''primeiro estranha-se, depois entranha-se'', which pretty much means ''at first you find it strange but then you get used to it''.
