February Favorites

February is almost over? How is that possible? Am I the only one who feels like this month flew by? I think this is a normal feeling though. Everyone says January always goes by super slow so when February comes, it seems like it just comes and goes. I've gathered a few favorites which I thought I should share with you guys. Maybe you'll discover something or someone interesting. #lifestyle #favorites

This month went by totally differently from January in terms of time to myself. I spent pretty much all my month of January studying for my uni exams and reading books for oral evaluations. I didn't really have any time to watch TV or be up to date with product releases and stuff like that. February was my ''recovery month''. I binge-watched a bunch of shows, listened to all the new album releases I've been interested in and pretty much just caught up to all the news of January. By doing so, I've gathered a few favorites which I thought I should share with you guys. Maybe you'll discover something or someone interesting.

Shows

I'm still not done with this drama (I still have 5 episodes left to watch) but I'm loving it so far. It's completely different from the previous kdramas I've watched. Here women are in charge. The whole story revolves around a woman called Bae Tami who works at an internet browser company but is fired unjustly after exposing the truth about the company. She then starts working at a rival company. I don't want to say anymore as I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll just say you should really watch it. It'sn a super addicting show.

Melting Me Softly

I watched this drama in about 3 days, I was that hooked. This drama is about a man and a woman who undergo a science experiment where they are supposed to be frozen for 24 hours. However there's an issue (that I'm not going to spoil here), and they end up being frozen for 20 years. They wake up in 2019 and have to adapt tho the changes the world underwent from 1999 to the present year. This drama has the perfect amount of dramatic scenes and comedy so I really loved it.

The Good Doctor

Ah, I love this show! This is pretty much the only show I watch on my actual TV. Season 3 has me feeling some type of way. I gotta be honest, I'm not 'team Carly'. If you haven't watched this show I highly recommend you do.

Chicago Med

Can you tell I love medical shows? I started watching Chicago Med during Summer but recently I've been re-watching it with my mom as it has finally started airing on Portuguese TV. This has kind of become a ritual of ours. We sit down with our lattes and biscuits and watch one or two episodes.

Youtube

Justinebujo

If you've read my 'Stationery Favorites', you know I love journaling. Justine was one of the youtubers who convinced me to get my own 6 ring binders. I really love watching her videos. Her journaling style is right up my alley. If you're thinking about starting to journal, I'd highly recommend you subscribe to her channel.

Rowena Tsai

There's something about Rowena's videos that make me feel super soothed and relaxed. I think it's her voice. Rowena's content revolved around personal development, productivity, organization and much more. My favorite thing about her channel is how she manages to quote a bunch of books in all of her videos. I've gotten a bunch of book recommendations from her.

MuchelleB

Michelle's channel is similar to Rowena's in terms of content, although I do feel like she focuses more on the topics of organization and productivity. I watch Michelle's videos time and time again because I feel like I always learn something new every time I watch her.

Music

Map of the Soul: 7

When I started to think about my favorite songs of the month a few came to my mind, but when it came to BTS I couldn't choose just one song. Map of the Soul 7 came out last week and I've been listening to the whole album non-stop. I can't really choose just one song as my favorite, I seriously love them all. If I could recommend only 5 songs though I'd say you should listen to 00:00, Filter, ON, My Time and UGH!. Heck, just listen to the whole album, you will not be disappointed.

Everglow DunDun

I've been keeping my eye on Everglow ever since they debuted last year so I was really excited when I heard they were having a comeback this month. They did not disappoint in the slightest. DunDun has been stuck in my head for weeks now.

Books

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't read a single book all the way this month. I've started Atomic Habits by James Clear and so far I'm loving it. I've read Nocturnes by Kazuo Ishiguro for an oral evaluation at my university but I've actually really enjoyed the book.

What have you been loving lately?
